Another Sad Day for the Republic

Wow, America! You are really blind. Don't you know the two party system is a flawed and corrupt system that gives you only the choice between one evil person versus another.

The differences were pretty minimal between Obama and McCain. They both wanted more soldiers in Afghanistan, they both whole heatedly support Israel(where do you think that will put us in regards to Iran?),they both wanted to spend money that this country doesn't have, on plans that will help no one but themselves, and most importantly both backed the failed Federal Reserve system and bailed out businesses and corporations with your tax money; in order to keep a flawed system afloat.

Nothing will change, for the better at least. Obama will drive this country to the ground, so would have McCain. The only change you will see; is this country turning into a socialist welfare mega state that will eat away at decent tax-paying citizens. The government will be involved in anything and everything you do.

All bottom feeders with food stamps or here in Chicago, Link Cards(Government paid Credit Cards) will rejoice to see there bi-weekly allowance increase. Unfortunately, a large percentage of these people are taking advantage of a welfare system that has become bloated to the extent of rupture. It just provides a system of control over people that do not wish to work for their living but let everyone else pay for them to live.

Let's not forget that both parties support illegal immigration. Not to mention that illegal immigrants, with their fake social security cards, can receive free health care, education, and those same Government checks and/or Link cards that US citizens could receive.

I used to believe that this country was something special. I'm afraid now, it will turn into a country with an ideology that is more akin to a dictatorship or quasi communist than the Republic it was founded as.
